Beaumont Hospital required a major upgrade of its electrical infrastructure to support critical healthcare operations and future campus development.

Acting as PSCS, CJK delivered the modernisation of the hospital’s medium and low voltage (MV/LV) power infrastructure, creating a more resilient and flexible electrical network capable of supporting continuous operation across the campus.

Scope of Work

  • Modernisation of MV and LV electrical infrastructure across the hospital campus
  • Upgrade of three substations to dual A/B MV supplies
  • Installation of new primary MV switchgear, transformers and LV panels
  • Installation of an additional substation to support future expansion
  • Complete rewiring of MV ring infrastructure
  • Offsite pre-fabricated modular switch rooms

  • Permanent and temporary generator backup systems with synchronised control
