CJK delivered the redevelopment of an existing Eir telephone exchange in Drogheda, transforming the facility into a modern data centre environment.

Delivered within a live operational telecommunications facility, the project required the careful transition from legacy infrastructure while maintaining continuity of critical services throughout the programme.

Scope of Work

  • Full survey and dilapidation reporting of existing infrastructure
  • Phased decommissioning of legacy services
  • Installation of new mechanical and electrical systems
  • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
  • Energisation and post-energisation testing
  • Integrated Systems Testing (IST) Levels 4 and 5
